This week, BioResearch Online presents remarks made by Martina 
McGloughlin, Director of the University of Davis Biotechnology Program 
entitled: "The public need for science, not fiction, on biotechnology."
One of those remarks: "Other groups are truly concerned about the 
safety of the foods produced by new techniques that they do not 
understand, but have full confidence in foods produced by classical 
methods that they also do not understand."
