Justice Department: NO APPROVAL FOR NEOTAME, variation of , aspartame (aspartame generic for NutraSweet/Equal/Spoonful, etc.);,moratorium on aspartame!

Dear Mr. Thirolf:  I wrote you on Dec 1 telling you that Monsanto,
manufacturer of NutraSweet should be charged with genocide, and definitely
the FDA for their malfeasance in the approval of NutraSweet, and their
defense of it with propaganda stating its safe, when in fact, it was not
only never proven safe but was the target of an indictment for fraud that
was never carried out when two U.S. Prosecutors went to work for the law
firm defending the case.  When the District Attorney goes to work for the
godfather expect acquittal.  The FDA has an incestuous relationship with
Monsanto.  They gave blanket approval to aspartame without public
notification even though thousands of complaints have gone to the FDA for
years and years, and they have done everything they could to not show
them. They have told people they are not taking complaints.  In Congress
it was discussed how they were referring people with complaints to the
AIDS Hotline.  They have been sued over the approval of aspartame.  Dr.
James Bowen said terrible happen to people who sue the FDA telling about
how aspartame poisoned him.  He told the FDA years ago this was mass
poisoning of the American Public and more than 70 countries of the world.  

And the coverup has gone to such lengths that when people were in an
uproar over the horrific effects of aspartame with such things as
seizures, blindness, heart conditions, etc. the CDC was asked to
investigate, and then put a summary that was contradictory to the
investigation.  

The FDA has yet to answer our demand for recall from the worldwide market
and its based on good evidence.  They continually tell you that aspartame
does not cause seizures when, in fact, their own FDA report of 92
documented symptoms from coma to death including four different types of
seizures.  Then we find out that one of the PIVOTAL studies that approved
aspartame was done on 7 monkeys, 6 of which sustained grand mal seizures
from aspartame and the 7th died.  I find it difficult to understand how
this proves safety.  It should never have been approved in the first place
as Senator Metzenbaum, now retired from Congress and working for a
consumer organization in Washington, told Dr. Kessler of the FDA.  So did
Dr. Kessler show concern for the public who are sick and dying on this
poison?  No, he showed his loyalty to Monsanto by turning around and
giving blanket approval like sugar to aspartame, a drug that interacts
with other drugs, and triggers  blindness, seizures, Alzheimers, brain
tumors, cardiac problems and a list of problems too long to list.   

And with the history of all this political manueuversing and studies that
were the target of an indictment for fraud, we have an FDA still telling
the public that its safe.

Monsanto is the largest manufacturer of poisons in the world, and they
work - they kill; and that is what aspartame is, a poison.  A literal
poison made up of two neurotoxins and methanol, a severe metabolic poison,
that breaks down into a witches brew of more toxins including
diketopiperazine, a brain tumor agent that triggered astrocytoma brain
tumors in rats in the original studies.  And the methanol converts to
formaldehyde and formic acid (ant sting poison) and causes metabolic
acidosis.  It is the death of 1000 six-packs.  Methanol is a cumulative
poison.

And what is this new aspartame product made of?  Is it GENETICALLY
ENGINEERED like the phenylalanine in original aspartame?  And were the
people even told about that?  We had to find it on a web page and point it
out - after which the web page was immediately taken down. Brazil had
banned genetically engineered products which may have changed now, but
they were using aspartame in their drinks.  Was this not against the law
then?  

Mr. Thirolf, this note to you is going to the media list from CNN to 60
Minutes.  It will go to operations around the world and many lists.  And a
copy is going to the FDA.  I would ask them to send me information on this
new aspartame crud but the FDA has never answered my communications.  

Do you really think there would be operations of Mission Possible not only
of the US, and separate Mission Possible operations in states, and in
other countries to do nothing but warn people off this poison if this
wasn't serious?  If you talk to 10 people on aspartame 6 people will
have the symptoms or some disease.  Try it!  We estimate that 5 out of 7
on aspartame have these symptoms.  And people who have been on it for many
years suffer such joint pain besides MS type symptoms that many can no
longer walk.  I just came from talking to someone whose brother, diabetic,
died recently, a young man.  I explained how deadly aspartame is with wood
alcohol for the diabetic.  I said if he was using it many years he
probably had such joint pain and agonizing pain in his legs he had
difficulty walking.  She said: "He cried when he walked he hurt so much."
And a translator said they found out when they tested it on humans and
didn't publish the studies that it hardened the synovial fluids.  Monsanto
has for years stopped the retesting of aspartame.  I told the lady: "It's
now escalating Alzheimers and most people on it for years have terrible
memory loss."  She said: "He stopped leaving the house when he could walk
- he couldn't remember how to get home."  And I hear it that over and over
and over again. And if you would like to see some case histories like that
I'll be glad to send them.

Mr. Thirolf, if everybody I spoke with who told me about their problems
with aspartame wrote them down we would have to rent a large warehouse
just to house the case histories!!!  

The FDA must be made to stop telling people aspartame was proven safe
when, in fact, it was not and on the DORway web page, address below my
signature is the Bressler Report, which is the FDA's own audit of the
studies on aspartame.  As was told on CBN news, "The Bressler Report is
enough to give Monsanto indigestion."  

I have the Wall Street Journal article dated February 7, l986 titled TWO
EX-U.S. PROSECUTORS ROLES IN CASE AGAINST SEARLE ARE QUESTIONED IN PROBE. 
Monsanto bought Searle in l985. Nothing was done about it!  Mr. Thirolf,
we are making a difference, Equal is down 17.5%.  Monsanto is now
pushing this poison into Asia and other countries.  Frankly, not a
neighborly thing to do!  This is why there are so many Mission Possible
operations in other countries.  And reporters are writing stories
constantly.  Aspartame is making front page news - and the news is - its
a killer!  And that is in America and other countries.  

I know Monsanto will try and get the FDA to approve this new aspartame
product before anybody knows about it.  I'm alerting the world now, people
are going to be writing the FDA, Congress and writing articles.  If
something isn't done this letter is on record all over the world that we
demanded this be stopped.

Many years ago, Dr. H. J. Roberts, diabetic specialist and world expert on
aspartame at a press conference said: "I think it would be a tragedy if
this issue is ignored since we could be inviting disastrous medical,
psychological and neurological problems.  I hope I'm wrong.  But lets look
at the problem NOW INSTEAD OF IN FIVE OR 10 YEARS WHEN WE MIGHT BE HAVING
A MEDICAL PLAGUE ON OUR HANDS."  He quoted this in one of his book
ASPARTAME (Nutrasweet) IS IT SAFE?  This was in l990 and now 7 years later
we have a worldwide plague called ASPARTAME DISEASE, and how fitting it is
that Dr. Roberts wrote the book ASPARTAME DISEASE: THE IGNORED EPIDEMIC.  
Like AIDS or any other disease, there is a pattern and the symptoms are
predictable.  The FDA themselves list 92.  

Senator Howard Metzenbaum in l988 at the Hearing on NutraSweet, Health and
SAfety Concerns said:  "Finally, we should learn a lesson from the
NutraSweet experience.  If a fod additive has potential neurological or
behavioral effects, it should undergo human clinical testing, similar to
the process a drug must undergo before it is put on the market .. the food
and beverage industry, and their various institutes, exert tremendous
influence over scientific research and investigation.  I want to make sure
such work is genuinely independent."  Of course, we know that human
testing was done but never published - thats how bad it was.

On 60 Minutes, Dr. Ralph Walton, said out of 90 INDEPENDENT studies 83
showed problems with aspartame.  I rest my case - aspartame has never been
proven safe.  I will send you the propaganda put out answered factually.  

I would like to see all research on this new product and know who financed
it!  Because of aspartame we have an army of deformed babies, stillborns
and mentally retarded.  We also have an army of women in infertility
clinics (changes the menses).  Dr. Louis Elsas, Pediatric Professor,
Genetics, at Emory University testified before Congress aspartame is a
teratogen (triggers birth defects) and neurotoxin. In reading an article
about Carolyn Kennedy it said she can't get pregnant and will adopt.  I
couldn't help but wonder if she is on aspartame - everybody is affected,
even the Kennedys.  A moratorium, Mr. Thirolf, until this issue is settled
and aspartame can be removed.  Please, stop the DEATH from NutraSweet.
