I know there are thousands of food products contaminated with GMOs but
unfortunately I couldn't name a single brand which is sold in Germany.
I would like to name some well known brands as an example. I think
it's a curious situation to know that there are thousands of
ge-products on the market and be unable to name publicly an example.
You have to be very sure, especially in Germany, if you accuse a
company to process GMOs. If you are wrong you probably will have to
pay for an expensive litigation case.
Greenpeace Germany has a very good list of retailers who are selling
ge-free food or are claiming that the will avoid ge-food but they are
giving no information about ge-product names except for RR Soja or Ciba
Geigy Maize but the vast majority of people don't buy the pure grain.
Major Environmental Organisations in Germany have the means to test
products and to compile a list of economical important foods. Although
it's nearly impossible to test all or the most it's a fault to test
