GENTECH started in August 1995. It's easy to avoid crossposting from
gentech to other lists:
Every submission to gentech has an archive header of the following
X-Mailing-List: <email@example.com> archive/latest/412
Everbody could retrieve the message without beeing subscribed to
gentech. SHe only need to send the command "archive get latest/412"
to firstname.lastname@example.org to retrieve message number 412 from
the list archive. Therefore a short description of the message
including the archive pointer is sufficient to mention on other
lists. Every good mail reader should be able to show you this header
Another way could be to search on the Web based GENTECH
archive. Unfortunately this archive isn't updated daily. I
will try to make a monthly update until I find a better solution.
